Experience
Following a tour of duty as a Navy Supply Corps Officer, John began his accounting career in 1978 with Touche Ross & Company in San Francisco. He joined the tax department and worked closely with agribusiness, banking and high net worth individuals. In 1982, he left the Bay Area and joined the Santa Barbara practice. John has also been a visiting lecturer at UCSB for advanced income tax courses.
John actively consults with over 400 clients from both the Santa Barbara and Carpinteria offices, specializing in small businesses and closely-held corporations. Additionally, he works extensively with software manufacturers, hi-tech, agribusiness, and retirement planning issues.
